Carol Leary is a vocalist in the greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire area. Her repertoire includes music from the Great American Songbook, as well as selected Pop tunes from the 60’s to the present. She works with some of the best musicians in the area and can provide a duo, trio or small ensemble to best suit your musical needs. Carol takes great pride in providing music that will complement and enhance the dining experience. She draws inspiration from the styles of Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, Kay Starr, Natalie Cole, Astrud Gilberto, Dusty Springfield, Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt among many, many others, but has developed a style that is uniquely her own.
She has performed at many well known local restaurants, including most recently Hermanos (Concord NH), The Seaward Inn (Rockport MA), Latitude 43 (Gloucester MA), Trattoria Bellamia (Beverly MA), and Buono Bistro (North Andover MA). She also provides musical entertainment at a variety of private functions and events.
Originally from Buffalo, New York where she studied folk guitar, Carol relocated to the New England area to attend Brown University to study biology and music. She began public singing with her church choir in Andover, MA and eventually chose to concentrate on the songs she loves the most. She has studied voice with Sandi Bedrosian at “The Voice Studio”, and is grateful for the generous support she has always received from the many talented musicians she has worked with in the area.
